Here are an airline issue labels from N.A.C. (New Zealand National Airways Corporation)

National Airways Corporation was the national domestic airline of New Zealand from 1947 until 1978 when it amalgamated with New Zealand's international airline, Air New Zealand. Here is an airline issue label from C.G.A (Compagnie Generale Aeropostale). Same design as FRA-B-10 but lettering modified ("P"). Some labels come with overprints of doubtful origin. Size: 119x34mm.

Saar: Airmail labels

Here are the airmail labels from Saar.

The Saar Protectorate was a German borderland territory twice temporarily made a protectorate state. Since rejoining Germany the second time in 1957, it is the smallest Federal German Area State (Flächenland), the Saarland, thus not counting the city-states Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen. It is named after the Saar River. (Wikipedia)

First label is similar to SAR-A-4 from catalog (black/white label) but the border looks different. Also the lettering  "PAR AVION" : 21.5mm on catalog and mine is 21mm. Labels come on sheets. In two colors: ultramarine or grey-blue/white.

Romania: Full sheet of airmail labels

Here is an amazing sheet of 100 airmail labels from Romania. The sheet is full and all labels are back gummed.
The sheet is so big it didn't fit to my scanner. It measures H 30.8 x L 25.2mm.Labels come in various colors: dark violet-blue or violet-blue or violet-grey-blue. Catalog dating these labels aprrox 1970, but my sheet is from 1986. Come on sheets of 100(5x20). Ref.: "M.T.Tc. 29-1-402  Nr.  Buc.  pe  coala  100  MTTc 744/1986".

Here are 2 full booklets of airmail labels from US. The first labels are longer and brighter in color. Size: 97x50.5mm. The catalog gives a size of 87.5x50.5mm , it's either a mistake or mine is a bit different. 45 labels in a pad, intended for use on parcels. Ref.: "LABEL 19-A, JUNE 1992".

Catalogue of Airmail Labels by Günter Mair

So, this week i finally received my copy of Airmail labels catalog! The catalog is by Günter Mair and released in 1991 covering 201 countries world wide and 3289 illustrations. Later seven supplements with a total of 173 pages have been added to the original volume of 626 pages.
My old post will be updated with information from the catalog. Also new posts will have more additional information about the labels. And with the help of the catalog i will be able to identifier more labels i have and post them here.
