Central African Airways (CAA) was formed in 1946 from the wartime Southern Rhodesian Air Services (SRAS), which was in turn formed from the pre-war Rhodesia And Nyasaland Airways (RANA) and Southern Rhodesia Air Force (SRAF) communications squadron. The airline was the national carrier initially of Southern Rhodesia, then of the Central African Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland in 1953. It was headquartered in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia.

Here is the first airmail label issued in France back in 1918's!!! Also it was the first ever label introduced in Europe and maybe around the world. the French had first applied airmail labels reading “Par Avion” to their airmails, on the inaugural Paris to Saint-Nazaire flight.

Crimea: Airmail labels

Just recently got those labels. Not sure are their officially issued by post office or not. It doesn't looks very professionally made.

Crimea, or the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, is a sub-national unit, an autonomous republic, of Ukraine. It is located on the northern coast of the Black Sea, occupying a peninsula of the same name.

Crimea is now an autonomous parliamentary republic which is governed by the Constitution of Crimea in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. The capital and administrative seat of the republic's government is the city of Simferopol, located in the center of the peninsula. Crimea's area is 26,200 square kilometres (10,100 sq mi) and its population was 1,973,185 as of 2007. (wikipedia)

Ciskei: Airmail label

Here is the only airmail label issued in Ciskei.

Ciskei was a Bantustan in the south east of South Africa. It covered an area of 2,970 square miles (7,700 km³), almost entirely surrounded by what was then the Cape Province, and possessed a small coastline along the shore of the Indian Ocean. The name Ciskei means "on this side of the Kei River" (cf. Cisalpine), and is in contrast to the neighboring Bantustan of Transkei.(wikipedia)
